New Savoy Elementary Mayor Fenty and others break ground on the renovation of Savoy Elementary School in Southeast. When complete next summer, the $30 million project will include a new community center, parking, offices and a gym facility shared with the nearby Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter School.
Grass Cutting Season The DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs reminds you that uncut grass could cost you $500. Enforcement of seasonal grass-cutting rules runs May 1 to October 31. Grass and weeds that are more than 10 inches tall could lead to fines.Read More
